Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished. Ancient Chinese Saying
Just this week, I noticed a large plant in the garden, right about where we transplanted an eggplant seedling last March. Well, it is an eggplant! The purple fruit are beautiful and there are blossoms for more to come. Sometimes, it takes a long time for our hard work to give rewards.
I believe our garden can teach our students many important life lessons. If you have an empty pot or small corner in your yard, plant a garden! Even a few herbs in a pot will be rewarding! Check out the gardening pins on my Pinterest page for some ideas. Your children will benefit from the lessons of nature and the time spent creating your garden.
Happy gardening and growing! Ms. Stiver
